Awesome sure does describe this handsome gelding! He is described by his connections as a true professional– he’s good to ride, good to handle, nice to work around with no vices. Unfortunately, his classy manners have not helped him on the race track. In 17 starts, he’s had 5 finishes in the money, earning $21,000, but most recently has lacked the racing talent to make him competitive enough to winter him and bring back for another year. His connections are deciding to let him retire while he is sound and in good spirits, ready for a new career! Our volunteers observed a quiet, well mannered gentleman on a very blustery November morning. He was respectful of his handler, and happy to receive his morning grooming and peppermints.
