Update July 2013:  He has gone back to his owner/breeders’ farm, Dutchess View, in Dutchess County NY.  He is still available for purchase to a non-racing home. You should still contact the trainer, who can put you in touch with the farm.

What a solid bodied handsome young horse — and still growing! He is unraced and sound. He was put into race training this spring, and was showing some talent, but when asked to breeze at full speed longer than a half mile he started to displace his palate, so his owner/breeder decided not to force him to race and instead to find him a new career. He has huge potential for other careers — the palate issue should not be a problem at less than full racing speeds. His trainer says he is a good boy, very kind, but because they have stopped on him and he has not been doing anything he is feeling full of himself right now. Because he is young and still growing, an experienced horse person would be best to bring out the full potential of this horse.
