This big, elegant and classy Giant’s Causeway gelding was a $200,000 yearling purchase at the Keeneland September sales. True to his breeding, Noble showed off a quiet and been-there-done-that demeanor during his photo shoot and is described by his trainer as sound, easy to work with and just not going to make it after a one year layoff. His most recent race was on 7/8/19, exactly one year from his last race at Suffolk Downs with a fourth place finish. A review of his only race at Finger Lakes shows that he left the gate slowly and then trailed the field thereafter. He looked fine, covered ground well and just didn’t have much in the tank. His trainer reports that he is sound and we didn’t see anything concerning for his jog video. In fact he is a lovely mover with a swinging walk and a nice jog with cadence and suspension. Noble and True is by Giant’s Causeway out of a Royal Academy mare, so impressive sporting pedigree for eventing, foxhunting or whatever you fancy. He certainly has the size and elegant good looks to turn heads!
