She has been a very solid, sound, and durable racehorse for her owner/breeder, with 9 wins, multiple placings, and over $154,000 in earnings in her 49-start racing career. Molly last raced in November 2021, and her owner/trainer/breeder then took her to her farm, hoping to breed her in spring 2022. But human health issues changed those plans, and the owner/trainer/breeder must now downsize, so her beloved Molly is offered as a great prospect for a new career — whether it be as a sport horse, or as a broodmare. Fully let down on her trainer’s farm, Molly is barefoot and turns out well with a small group. But she would love a job! She is reported as sound with no stable vices. Jogging politely with just a lead rope on grassy uneven ground barefoot, Molly nonetheless showed athletic movement with good engagement from behind and a lofty trot step. We can see that movement earning praise in the dressage phase of eventing! Molly is by Cosmonaut, who is a son of Lemon Drop Kid (Kingmambo), and her dam Tough City Girl is by Good and Tough (Carson City). These bloodlines on both sire and dam side are excellent sport horse lines! Her full sister, who was placed through FLF a couple of years ago, is succeeding in a sport horse career, and we think Molly will as well!
