Okay Momma, 2012 16.1h dark bay filly

This young black beauty is quite elegant — the photos do not fully capture her exceptional good looks, so come see her in person to fully appreciate her!  She is very well bred, by Derby winner Super Saver, who is quickly becoming a top sire, out of a stakes placed mare by Defrere, from a strong Canadian family full of graded black type.  So Okay Momma should attract strong interest from breeders. Super Saver is known for getting very well balanced, nice moving horses with good brains — which was also an attribute of his sire, Maria’s Mon. After breaking her maiden last December, Okay Momma is finding the next level of competition a bit much, so her trainer would like to find her a new career.  She was described to us as a quiet horse, good to handle — although she does like to dunk her feed!  She posed perfectly, despite a lot of activity around her busy barn and on the training track right next to her barn.
