When this horse trotted for us, our jaws dropped… one of the nicest movers of the year for sure!  He showed off a lofty, floaty trot with suspension and cadence that dressage and upper level event riders crave, and that will also fit right in with warmbloods in the hunter ring.  Add in solid boned uphill build, great shoulder, clean legs, pretty head and kind eye,  quiet demeanor, and bargain price, and he is the steal of the season.  Old McDonald has shown little aptitude for racing, failing to win in 20 starts, so it is time to move him on to a new career.  But what potential for a sporting career!  He has an excellent sport pedigree — he is by AP Indy’s son Anasheed, who is by a Nureyev mare with Hoist the Flag/Ribot.   His dam brings in Danzig, Buckpasser, and Intentionally.  And there is no Mr. Prospector or Storm Cat in his pedigree.
