One More Act, 2012 16.1h dark bay mare

This gorgeous, solid bodied and very sweet filly has been an excellent, stakes placed race horse. She is a winning machine, with 7 wins in 14 starts, all at the allowance or stakes, non-claiming, level, with 11 in the money finishes.  In her last race, a stakes race in which she was favored against top competition and ran third, she came out with a chip in her knee.  Her trainer would like to place her as a broodmare, and she certainly deserves a shot at passing on her great heart and racing ability and conformation.  We felt her knee and it was not swollen or hot. She jogged sound and showed lovely movement, and could also be suitable for riding on the flat.  Surgery to remove the chip is always a possibility, which would increase her new career options.  We can personally attest to how sweet and friendly she is, since our volunteer spent over half an hour hanging out with her in her stall, waiting for someone to arrive to bring her out for photos. She loved getting petted, and was as kind and friendly as a horse can be. She is by AP Indy’s son Patriot Act, and her dam is by the great Quiet American, a son of Fappiano. Her second dam is a stakes winner.  Her bloodlines make her a great prospect for sport horse breeding, as well as racing breeding.
