This big, gorgeous dappled youngster is described by his trainer as a really cool horse with loads of personality, one of his favorites. He has had only two races, where he finished far back in the pack, so it is obvious that his talents lie in a new career direction. The trainer says that Sir is sound and has no vices or bad habits, but can be a bit strong to ride, so we think an experienced OTTB retrainer/rider is best for this growing youngster.  Sir has an impressive uphill build and strong shoulder and clean legs. He has unlimited potential for a new career, and with his pedigree he should be enticing for sporting endeavors. His sire is Japan, a young son of Medaglia D’Oro, from the El Prado/Sadler’s Wells sire line that is highly sought after in eventing. Sir’s dam is by Danzig, out of an Affirmed mare, and she is a half sister to several top stakes winners including top sire Bernstein, and the dam of top sire Sky Mesa.  Sir showed a flowing walk and a light trot with suspension and reach from the shoulders for his jog video.
