This gorgeous gentle giant has to be seen in person to truly appreciate how stunning he is, since his photos on a gloomy cold day do not fully do him justice.  He has such an elegant presence, and with his balanced build and substantial bone, you don’t realize how big he is until you stand right next to him.  Both his groom and his trainer raved about what a kind, easy horse he is, and his groom said she wished she could keep him forever.  And then another trainer in the same barn echoed their sentiments — when she saw him brought out for us to photograph she came over to rave about him, calling him just the best horse, a perfect classy gentleman who is always friendly and well behaved.  His trainer says he is very sound, and that he is an easy keeper.  He just isn’t that competitive as a race horse, with only one win in 23 starts.  Only the Silk is a beautiful mover, with a lofty ground covering big stride.  His trainer thinks he would make a great dressage horse; an eventer who was volunteering with us said she would love to event him!  And our show hunter volunteer started dreaming about how he would float around the show ring fitting right in with big warmbloods.  So he can go in any new directions your dreams take you!  He is a Massachusetts bred, by Silk Broker, a son of Pentilicus who is by Fappiano.  His dam is by Vision and Verse out of a Capote mare.
