Here is another spectacular warhorse who brightened our morning with his shiny good looks and classy manners. He waited patiently in the road while we were busy with another horse and then posed perfectly for every shot. There was a language barrier with his handler/owner but it is clear that he has great affection for the horse and wants to retire him from racing while he is sound and sane. He jogged sound for us and showed no evidence of wear and tear from his accomplished career. Paddy Kunuckles (who doesn’t want a horse with such a cute JC name??) has raced 87 times, mostly at Finger Lakes, with 8 wins, 7 seconds and 14 third place finishes and has been in the shedrows of quite a few trainers, so he has really been around the pike. This charming guy has loads of miles and potential for his future sporting career and, after some letdown, you will have a willing and wise partner for retraining.
