Pitching Pennies, 2007, 16.2h Chestnut Mare: sold for racing

Shiny like a new copper penny!  This lovely mare is a fabulous mover, with a lofty toe pointing trot that should turn heads in the hunter ring or in the dressage arena. She is favorite of the exercise riders because she is so nice to ride, an honest citizen, who loves to go out to work, never grabs or leans on the bit, and knows and enjoys her job.  She raced the day before we took her photos, and has shown that she is ready to be retired sound to a new job, although she has earned over $85,000 in past races. Her bandages are standard procedure from being raced yesterday, but her trainer states she is very clean legged. (We saw her on another day without her wraps, and we can attest her legs are nice and clean.) Come visit her and see for yourself!! She showed a nice, balanced trot with a lovely floaty reach for her video. Her alertness in the photos from today can be attributed to her friends galloping in the pasture next to our photoshoot, but she was very well behaved.  No vices.
