Queen of New York, 2013 16.1h chestnut filly

This very well  bred girl enchanted us with her sweet and kind face and eye.  Queenie is reported to be a very good girl, nice to handle.  She has not been running well since she broke her maiden, so it is time to find her a new career.  With some groceries, grooming, and muscle development, we can see great potential for any new discipline. We were not able to get a jog video because she was missing shoes and waiting for a date with the farrier. But we watched the video of her winning race to assess her movement, and we saw a fluid very nice moving filly.  Queenie has a great pedigree. She is by top sire First Samurai, a son of Giant’s Causeway.  Her dam, by the excellent sire Crafty Prospector, is a full sister to a multiple stakes winner. The second dam, by Rahy, also produced other stakes winners.  She is from the tail female family of European champion and foundation mare Monade, whose daughters are responsible for generations of graded stakes winners, top sires, and stakes producers.
