Raecinjasin, 2008 16.3h liver chestnut gelding

This big beautiful guy is absolutely stunning in person; he dazzled us with his solid boned, beautifully balanced and correct conformation, his great shoulder, his regal presence, and his gleaming caramel colored coat. And he is a very impressive, athletic mover who tracks up well, shows suspension, and has a good flat kneed reach to his trot. The photos simply do not do him justice. You have to come see him for yourself, and we are confident you will be as impressed as we were. His owner/trainer described him as sound, but he just seems to be losing interest in racing after starting out well in the spring.  Jasin is a barn favorite, much loved, and they want to find him a new career in a great home while he is still sound with so much potential.  We think he could go in any direction, but with his size, movement, and excellent jumping lines in his pedigree, we can see him going far in the hunter/jumper world or in eventing. He will hardly look out of place amongst big warmbloods. He is by Prime Timber, who is from the Cox’s Ridge sire line, which is well known for producing athletic horses who are good jumpers. His dam is by Marquetry, who has produced several beautiful movers who are excelling in the hunter ring. Jasin is best suited for an experienced rider  because of his size and athleticism, and also because he is described as a horse who will try to intimidate a handler who is not confident and experienced. He was perfectly behaved with his experienced handler, even though he towered over her. He is described as very well behaved on the farm, and good in turn out. He is a mild occasional cribber who  sometimes chews a bit of wood around feeding time, but his trainer says he does not need a collar, and he controls it by spraying anti-wood chew spray on the one chewing spot.  We think Raecinjasin is an outstanding sport horse prospect, and horses of this quality don’t last long, so call soon!
