Racing Raven was presented to us after being out of race training for a couple months and his Assistant Trainer had nothing but superlatives to describe this handsome fellow. She stated that he is a good boy with a lot of class, easy to gallop and work with on the ground, would be ammy friendly and is an all around solid citizen. Raven sustained an injury to his right front tendon sheath that is thought to have happened when he got cast in his stall but is recovering well from it. We loved his kind eye, deep barrel and strong shoulder. He is currently bare foot behind and hasn’t been doing much now that he is out of training, so that, combined with the brisk wind, made him a bit happy. Racing Raven is by Overanalyze (Dixie Union) out of an Elusive Quality (Gone West) mare. He is retiring from racing with 4 in the money finishes out of 9 starts.
