Good things come in (almost) plain black packages! This handsome dark bay gelding is lightly raced with only 15 starts.  He has still not broken his maiden, so his trainer is ready to move him onto something he will be more successful in.  Red Hook Express is described as very kind and quiet.  His trainer feels because of his demeanor he would be a good choice for someone looking for a first OTTB if they are working with a trainer and have horse experience.  He was very polite for his photo shoot on a very rainy, cold day.   His trainer reports he has an old, very mild bow that he has been racing sound on for two years.  He reports it does not bother him at all, which is certainly what we saw for his jog video.  He showed very nice movement at the jog on a relaxed lead.  We think he will be successful in just about any sporting discipline.  He is another great prospect for RRP 2018!
