Retired, 2010 16.1h chestnut gelding

He would love to  have you help him live up to his name, and let him retire from racing to be your new star as a hunter/jumper or eventing partner. While Retired did add another win to his racing resume this year, he will now face tougher conditions and his trainer says it is time to let him find his new career while he is sound and full of potential.  Retired has a beautiful uphill balanced build and good bone, and is described as a very good horse, nice to handle and gallop. We were taken in by his kind eye and beautiful face.  His legs are very clean, and his trainer days he is sound.  He had raced the day before we took his photos, and he showed no ill effects at all.  He jogged quietly on a loose lead, and showed off good movement.  He has a terrific pedigree for sport.  He is by Greeley’s Galaxy, from the Gone West sire line, and his dam is by Private Account, by Damascus.  His second dam is a granddaughter of Arts and Letters and Dr. Fager.  This is the type of horse that everyone says they are looking for: handsome, uphill build,  sound, nice mover, good temperament, and reasonably priced… so go get him!  And then send us updates so we can follow what we are sure will be a successful eventing or H/J career!
