Ride A Cat, 2010, 16h, Chestnut Horse

Take a ride on “Ride a Cat”! Although he has a silly name, Ride a Cat is one cool dude! He is lightly raced with 9 starts earning over $53,000 with 1 win, 1 second, and 1 third. His starts have all been at Belmont, Aqueduct, and Saratoga. His trainer reports that he was given time off after a mild bow. They brought him back to train at Finger Lakes this year, but he is not showing much promise and they would like to retire him to a discipline he will be more successful in. Don’t be deterred by his stallion status-a gelding procedure is easy and inexpensive. His trainer reports he is not at all studish, even with mares living next to him. He reports he has excellent manners and is very polite and respectful of his handler without any stall vices. Finger Lakes Finest offers a stallion reimbursement incentive. We will reimburse some of the gelding procedure with a receipt from a veterinarian. It is possible he could be gelded while still at the track. Because of his official workouts, Ride A Cat is RRP 2018 eligible! He sure would be a flashy boy to show off there. He showed nice movement at his jog video. We think he would be an excellent dressage or jumper prospect! He has a pretty, thick crusty neck and a stocky build which should fill up the leg of taller riders. Ride a Cat is by Discreet Cat out of a Sunday Break mare.
