You know a horse has earned the admiration and gratitude from his racing connections when the whole family is there to watch the photo shoot! Rincon Behr is fondly described as a very happy, good feeling horse who has tapered in his later years and is ready to leave the racetrack in the rearview mirror. He broke his maiden for special weight at Churchill Downs and ran back there to win an allowance heat, both races in very fast times. His trainer joked that he is “too fast”, and he wasn’t kidding! His most recent win was in June of this year and, although his trainer has stopped on his training, Rincon is still race fit and “feeling his oats”. We were excited to see that he demonstrates wonderful movement at the jog with loads of suspension and loft. Rincon is described as sound (we concur) and without vices. He will benefit from some down time to settle the “raciness” and transition to the discipline of your choice
