Hubba hubba!  This cutie was one of our favorite bargains of the day and how could you pass up a name like that?!  River Monster is described as a funny boy with a charming personality.  He has been a good racehorse earning over $113,000 in his 58 starts with a whopping 10 wins, 11 seconds, and 10 thirds.  Wow!  That is a testament to his trying attitude, big heart, and durability.  His connections report he just isn’t as competitive as he once was so they are ready to retire him.  He has a massive build that should appeal to those taller riders (or the shorters riders that insist they need a giant horse).  His trainer reports he has no vices and is good to handle and typically quiet, but can be a goofball.  She reports he can be ticklish to brush and will occasionally make a mean face, but is actually very sweet and all bark with no bite.  River Monster was very quiet and well behaved during our photo shoot on a windy, chilly day that had many horses feeling their oats.  His trainer reports he comes out a bit stiff on cold days and needs some time to walk to warm up.  We didn’t have time to hang around for his warm up, so we will get a video next weekend, or his trainer may be able to text you one.  He is by Sunriver out of a Mr. Greeley mare.  He is another fabulous prospect for RRP 2018!
