We’ve been told that “Robert”, as he is called by his trainer, is a bit of a celebrity at the track.  He said he is often told that Robert is “the most beautiful horse on the race track”.  He sure is a cutie and has a beautiful head!  Robert is a great option for riders needing a taller, stocker gelding.  He is quite tall and has a lot of bone to him-he will take up the leg of even the tallest of riders (or husbands).  His trainer has had Robert for 5 years, longer than any horse he has owned.  For this reason, he is very attached to him and a good home is a must.  He reports that Robert is sound, sound, sound has had no known injuries.  He reports that Robert is easy to handle and ride and very mellow.  Robert has been a good racehorse earning over $157,000 in his 91 starts with 11 wins, 5 seconds, and 7 thirds.  Certainly he has the trying heart of a champion!  Horses who stay that sound and willing after many starts are the most durable of the bunch and are truly made of steel.  They are also intelligent and have taken good care of themselves.  They often seem unflappable because they have seen it all on the racetrack.   Robert’s Breach is RRP 2018 eligible.  We could see him loving the eventing world-wouldn’t he look awesome galloping cross country?!  He is by Shaniko out of a Scatmandumare.
