Rolling Bobby 2016 16.1h, dark bay filly

Located at Finger Lakes Race Track, Farmington, NY (close to Rochester, NY). This statuesque girl is solidly put together, especially for a 3-year old filly! Her assistant trainer told us that they have not had her for very long, but reports to us that she is good to work around and in her stall. She’s a striking and eye catching girl with a long, elegant neck, her dark bay coat and a distinctive white patch on her right shoulder near her withers. We liked her solid and study build, she is close coupled, with good depth and width through her girth and body. And she’s only 3! She should continue to grow and fill out even more. We were informed that she does have a small, upper joint chip in her knee; we were told that she has raced on this with no issues and is reported to us as sound. On the very cold morning of our visit, she demonstrated a few ‘passage’ steps as we started to video, but was very responsive to her handler and quickly settled down to business, displaying cute movement. She has had success on the track and is stakes placed; in her 16 starts, she has an impressive 4-3-2 record and earned over $86,000! She is by Shanghi Bobby (so there are several good sport horse lines on her sire’s side) and out of Rolling True, by Yes It’s True, who adds bloodlines from Buckpasser with multiple crosses of Bold Ruler. So why not roll on over to Finger Lakes to take a good long look at this lovely filly?
