Roshiell is a truly lovely four year old mare who showed off her ladylike manners when she came out for pictures and a jog video. Her trainer lamented “she was once a really competitive horse until she got a taste of the good life while turned out back at the farm.” Now, it seems “she just doesn’t want to be back at the track and doesn’t seem to care to race.” She still “trains great” and “gallops like a flight train during morning workouts but then she is done for the day.” The trainer has often ridden her himself and mentioned that “when she is happy she will let you know with a few happy bucks” but she has never been known to rear or bolt.

This dark bay, almost black beauty stands a solid 16.2 and is completely race-fit at the moment. In the stall she is all manners and easy to work around. She is said to be “completely sound. ” At her age she could go in any direction and she probably has some growing left to do as well.
