Rust in My Halo, 2012 15.1h gray filly

This adorable, compact, sweet little gray girl is unraced and clean legged — and a clean slate for any new career. With her small size we think she could make a great polo horse, but we also think she could do well in jumping disciplines, given her pedigree. Her sire is by Halo out of a Secretariat mare. This is the Hail to Reason/Turn-to sire line. Her dam is a Gone West granddaughter whose dam is from another branch of Hail to Reason through Cure the Blues. Her trainer says she is not showing enough ability to make it worth bringing her to the races.  She recently came to his barn with a bad case of thrush, which he is treating.  It is not quite cleared up, and while she walked just fine for a video, he did not yet want to jog her on the hard ground.  He says she is very sound otherwise, and we observed completely clean legs. If she is not snapped up immediately, we will check in later for a jog video.  Everyone wants a cute gray, so call fast if you are interested!
