Sadie the Saint, 2013 15.1+h bay mare

What a pretty mare — her cute sweet face certainly drew our attention.  Sadie was indeed a saint for her photo session in the snow, showing off her well put together solid bodied conformation with a great shoulder, top line, and neck. Her trainer says she is very sound and a good girl — and she stood politely in he stall as he got her ready for us to photograph.  Sadie has 3 wins and 13 in the money finishes in 35 starts, so she has earned her keep, but her trainer says now is a good time for her to move on to a new career because she hasn’t been as competitive in the NW4 race conditions and he has a lot of youngsters to bring into his barn in the spring.  Sadie jogged politely and quietly as she was led by one of our volunteers and showed cute movement as she carefully stepped through the icy slush.  Sadie can go in any direction for a new career, and she is an excellent choice for those who do not need a huge horse. Sadie is New York bred girl  by Misremembered, a son of the great Candy Ride, from the Cryptoclearance branch of the Fappiano line.  Her dam, who has produced a New York stakes winner, is by Three Wonders (a son of Storm Cat) out of a mare from the Gone West line.
