Sassarion, with cute curly ears, has been relatively lightly raced as
a 6 year old, in the money 14 of his 26 lifetime starts, with an
impressive 4 wins and 3 seconds this year. With his racing
achievements to date, he is now in a more difficult caliber of racing
and his connections prefer to move him on. He is reported to be sound
and rarely, if ever, needs bandages. He was very quiet and statuesque
while we posed him and photographed him on a cold, windy, wet morning.
He has a stocky build with good bone and, despite his size, he moves
lightly and beautifully, tracks up evenly with nice suspension and
loft. This solid, sound individual is ready to go!
