Say It Ain’t Frosty, 2014 16.3+h chestnut gelding

Very fancy show hunter alert! This solid boned, huge and still growing, quiet and laid back, and fabulous moving young son of Frost Giant is letting everyone know that he would rather be a star in the show hunter ring than a race horse.  After only seven starts, with one win last year, Frosty is making it clear that racing is not where his heart lies. This sweet big young boy, described by the people in his barn as a “big teddy bear,” would rather be in a career where he can  be pampered, snuggle, and go around showing off his fancy movement.  Frosty impressed us with his excellent balanced conformation, solid bone, and his quiet friendly demeanor.  For his jog video, he showed off a soft light trot with lofty movement, suspension, and a long strided reach. His trainer says he is very sound, very well behaved, but just not a race horse.  His pedigree is excellent for jumping. His sire, Frost Giant, is by Giant’s Causeway out of a Gone West mare with Seattle Slew on the dam side. Frosty’s dam is by Is It True, a son of Raja Baba.
