Scoopsie inspired a lot of oohing and aahing while we watched him pose and cuddle with his handler. This is one cool dude! He made his debut in Saratoga where he didn’t perform to the expectations of his connections and since then has had only two more starts, one at Belmont, one at Finger Lakes. His sire, Posse, tends to throw late bloomers and this big galoof might be able to use that as an excuse, but we think that he’s one of our more exciting young prospects for eventing or foxhunting. There is nothing not to like about Scoopsie: he is big, young, sound, friendly and has truly lovely movement at the walk and the jog. Scoopsie is by Posse (Silver Deputy) out of a Cure the Blues mare.  Based on the attention he’s getting on our FB preview page, we have a hunch this handsome fella won’t last long.
