Belying his name, this very pretty young gelding is described by his groom as a kind people lover, quiet and great to work with.  We admired his leggy elegance, very attractive head, and his very nice flowing and flat kneed movement at the trot.  We also watched the video of his one winning race, and as he cantered back to the winner’s circle we admired his lovely balanced canter.  His movement should do well in the hunter ring. He was a very well behaved gentleman for his photo session, posing quietly and jogging politely. He has an excellent pedigree for jumping/sport; he is a son of Touch Gold, who is by Deputy Minister, and his dam is by Stop the Music from the Hail to Reason/Turn-to line.  Scorpion’s Touch is described as sound, but he is ready to move on to a new career because after breaking his maiden he is not as competitive in the next level of racing conditions.  He is a great prospect for any new discipline, and given his size, youth, good movement, and good temperament, he is offered at quite the bargain price.
