Seek Perfection, 2012, 16.1h Bay Filly

After only 13 starts, this pretty girl is letting her connections know that her heart isn’t in racing.  Most of her career starts were in Pennsylvania and she was moved to Finger Lakes this summer in hopes she would be more successful at a new track.  Upon arrival, Seek Perfection got her hoof caught on the wire grate at the bottom of her stall which caused her to abscess.  There was no structural damage done.  She is now sound and her trainers have kept her barefoot since she is not currently working.  She was very quiet during her photo shoot despite the windy day and not working on the track recently.  Her trainer reports she has no vices and is a very intelligent horse, but seems to bond to one handler and may appreciate having her “own person”.  Her regular exercise rider says that she is athletic and a strong galloper, so an experienced rider would be best. She is by Pleasantly Perfect out of a Prime Timber mare. Pleasantly Perfect is from the Pleasant Colony/His Majesty/Ribot sire line. And Prime Timer is from the Cox’s Ridge sire line, and is well known as a sire of horses who have great brains, are durable, and can jump! Eventers and fox hunters covet the Prime Timber bloodlines. This is a great opportunity to get a big, beautiful lightly raced filly at a bargain price!
