This adorable fellow boasts an excellent pedigree for sport disciplines. He is by Marsh Side, a son of Gone West from a Pleasant Colony mare, with Stage Door Johnny/Prince John through his sire’s second dam. Northern Dancer, Buckpasser and Princequillo on the dam side and not a drop of Storm Cat!  Having not achieved the stellar achievements of his parents, he has managed to win a race in 13 starts and is pursuing the elusive second win. His connections would like to retire him from racing, and we’d love to follow this fellow in his sporting career!

Not only is he very nicely bred and off the charts in the cuteness scale, he is very quiet and described by his trainer as quiet enough to be a child’s horse. He stood like a supermodel for us during his photo shoot, in fact, seemed to know how to hold a pose. When asked if this behavior is normal for him, his trainer said that he is always quiet and easy to work with (so much for the “white eye” myth!). He is reported to be sound and we saw tight, clean legs.

Round it up with cute movement and this flashy boy should attract plenty of attention. Horses are often moving before their listing has gone up, so don’t hesitate to call on him.
