The life of a track pony can be rigorous, especially in a large stable, which is the case with Shorty. His owner adores him and appreciates his years of service, but it’s time for him to find a cushier job. His owner describes him as “small but mighty”, a powerhouse still despite his age. Shorty has been there and done that, turns out well with other horses and has done some jumping. We think he would be perfect in a lesson program or for someone looking for a trustworthy trail horse. As you can see in his jog video, Shorty is sound, has a spring in his step and has may useful years ahead of him.
