Warhorse alert! We are always excited and privileged to be able to photograph and list horses as special as this one is. His owner has a soft spot for his boy and will keep him until a perfect home is found for him. Because of a lot of equipment activity outside of the barn, we photographed Smoke inside the barn. His owner chuckled because, as soon as Smoke saw him, he got excited and he explained that it meant that Smoke thought he would be going back to the track. He kept saying “He is a racehorse” and, indeed, it has been his job for 7 years of his life and he loves the work and activities of the racetrack. A handsome hunk of a horse, Smoke has a ton of class and is still very much in his physical youth. He was pretty pumped up for his photo session and that aspect of being on “go” all the time is still very much with him. Smoke’s remarkable record includes 14 wins, 11 seconds and 8 thirds during a career that has compiled 287,000 in earnings. We think that makes him a legitimate warhorse, one with many miles still left on his stocky frame. Smoke is by Smoke Glacken (Two Punch) out of a Silver Charm mare, which is a stout pedigree for sporting disciplines. Don’t wait to call on this superstar!
