Stage Debut, 2009 15.3h chestnut gelding

Update Dec. 1, 2014:  He had a sale pending for more racing, but we were just informed that it fell through. So that is vey good news for everyone who loved this horse as much as we do, and who is looking for a fabulous show hunter or evening or fox hunting horse.  This stunning dappled almost liver chestnut gelding, who has earned over $80,000 on the track,   has a solid build that will take up a lot of leg.   This is a super sweet and kind horse and the trainer’s assistant notes he is calm, quiet, sensible, and very intelligent. He is sound with clean legs and no vices. He is a beautiful mover, with suspension, cadence, good hind end engagement. We have seen him several times, and have always thought he was one of the nicest movers we have listed this season. The videos are too short to do him justice. For the video here, it was taken the day after he had just raced earlier this summer, and he jogged well for our volunteers without any of the stiffness that some horses show right after a race.  With his great movement, beautiful balanced and solid build, we think he will make a top show hunter –but he would stand out in just about any discipline!  We have also heard from someone who knows him from a farm where he was previously overwintered, and she reports that he has gone out on trails and through the fields, and would make a great event horse or fox hunter.

He needs to find a new non racing home by the weekend of Dec. 5-6, because his trainer is leaving and the stable area is closing.
