Tales of Royalty, 2015 15.3h bay mare

TALES OF ROYALTY, 2015 15.3h bay mare
Located on a farm in Shortsville NY very close to the Finger Lakes Race Track
This very pretty mare has very correct conformation, with a solid and balanced build. She is described as very sweet and easy to deal with and very nice to ride. Last summer, after winning her first race, she had a bone chip near her sesamoid removed, and was patiently and properly rehabbed and got full vet clearance to return to racing. She went back into training this year, and trained with no issues, and raced at the end of August and came back sound. But with the shortened racing season this year at Finger Lakes, they decided it was best to let her move on to a new career, and she has already started enjoying turn out and the farm life. Her owner/trainer says that she has no limitations for any disciplines. They have kept riding her at the farm to keep her fit and her mind engaged, and we have undersaddle videos to offer! She shows a beautiful flat kneed trot, with a willingness to start stretching down into the bridle, and a balanced big strided canter. Her rider is over 6 feet tall, so you can see that she takes up the leg and can accommodate a taller rider. She is fully eligible for the 2021 RRP. Tales of Royalty is by Forty Tales, who is a son of Tale of the Cat, a sire line that many have said gets good brained horses with lovely movement and athletic and jumping ability. Her dam, Royal Conquest, is by Conquistador Cielo out of a Majestic Light mare. This is a quality mare offered at a bargain price! She can be seen by appointment at the farm which is less than two miles from the Finger Lakes Race Track — so make sure you add her to your list of horses to see if you are coming to the track to shop!
A pre-purchase exam is always recommended. For information about veterinary practices available to do PPEs please see the post pinned to the top of our page, or the How to Buy menu tab on our website.
