Tell it to the Man, 2011 15.3 hand bay gelding

This handsome young man was bred to be a champion, but racing is not his game, so he is ready to move on to a new career where his quality bloodlines will lead him to shine.  He is sired by Quiet American, a son of Fappiano, so this is a line much coveted by eventers and jumpers. His dam is by champion sire Distorted Humor from the Forty Niner line, and she was a $200,000 yearling out of a major stakes producer who cost $650,000 as a yearling. Thoroughbred royalty indeed in this pedigree!  Despite a language barrier, we learned from his groom that Tell It to the Man is sound and good to handle with no vices. he just doesn’t want to be a racehorse! For our video, the groom did not jog him for long due to the cold rain, but from our brief glimpse we could see tantalizing hints of gorgeous movement, with lightness, suspension, and balance. Tell It to the Man has been running regularly this year, and has yet to win. Give him a winter break, let him finish growing (we think he should top out at over 16h), then restart him in the spring for the discipline of your choice. We think that people looking for an event or H/J prospect should jump all over this young horse. don’t let the plain brown wrapper deter you; he is an excellent sport horse prospect. We have reason to believe he needs to find a new home quickly.
