This chunky guys is best described as “a lover, kind, and playful” by his trainer and groom. He is reported to be super quiet when in work and is nice to handle, never pulling any naughty stunts, and genuinely wanting to do the right thing. His trainer reports that he winters well and loves turnout time. He turns out well in a herd. In June, Third Frontier had a mild sesamoid fracture that required a couple months of stall rest. He has completed the required stall rest successfully and has been back in work on the eurosizer for almost one month. His rehab has been strictly monitored by the veterinarian at the track and is reported to have an excellent prognosis to even include lower level eventing. He is a groom favorite who has enjoyed his daily pampering while on stall rest. He jogged soundly with a big stride despite being a bit overdue for the farrier and being barefoot. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to get a big gelding with a great personality at a bargain price. Third Frontier is ready to go back to work and would make an excellent RRP horse for 2017! Xrays are available and the trainer will release vet records to serious parties. He has no vices. References will be required by trainer to ensure a safe and appropriate placement. PLEASE NOTE: This trainer has multiple horses listed with us. If you call to express interest, please make sure you have the horse’s name. Please refrain from calling to ask about “the cute gelding” or “the bay horse”. Having the name is respectful and makes it much easier to give you correct information.
