Three Months, 2011 15.3h dark bay gelding

For those of you who missed out on the very popular Augie Dawgie, Three Months  could be his twin — same color, blaze, size and build, sweet temperament, and great movement!  So step right up, for Augie’s twin, known affectionately to his connections as “Rocky,” deserves to be placed just as quickly. Three Months/Rocky is lightly raced, with only 7 starts, and he has shown no racing ability. But that is the sport horse world’s gain!  Indeed, his sire, Don Corleone, has proven to be a far better sire of hunter/jumpers and event horses than of race horses. Rocky is described as very sound, and we saw nice clean legs. He is a good boy, kind, quiet and good to handle, and friendly.  On a cold windy day that caused many horses to get riled up, Rocky jogged quietly on a loose lead. He showed off beautiful movement, light and with suspension.  We think Rocky can go in any direction — show hunter, eventing, dressage, or western disciplines. He has a great sport horse pedigree. He is from the Turn-to/Hail to Reason sire line through Cure the Blues. His dam is by Gone West’s son Mr. Greeley, and he has multiple crosses of Bold Ruler.  Rocky presents an exciting opportunity to get a young ,sound, beautiful moving prospect at a bargain price!
