Tiz Magic Mick, 2014 16.1+h dark bay gelding

This handsome young son of Tizway sold for $90,000 as a yearling, and with his good looks, balanced conformation, intelligence, and kind eye, it is easy to see why.  He posed perfectly for his photos session, never putting a foot out of place despite lots of activity around him, and he jogged on a loose lead for his video showing off a very nice balanced even trot. The trainer says that Mick is a very good boy, quiet, sensible, and easy to work with and has no vices. He said that Mick does have small osselets that he is racing on, but they shouldn’t cause any issues in a new career. Mick has two wins and 5 in the money finishes this year, and 3 wins and 12 in the money finishes in 22 career starts. Now that he is facing the very tough “non-winners of 4 races” conditions, his trainer thinks he will be less competitive, and since the Finger Lakes racing season is coming to an end it is a good time to let Mick find a new career.  He has unlimited potential for many new disciplines. He is by Tizway, who is a son of the great Tiznow from the In Reality sire line and out of a mare from the Danzig line. Mick’s dam is a daughter of Aptitude (by AP Indy) out of a Gulch mare.
