Tri coastal, 2012, 16h dark bay gelding

Hello gorgeous!  If you’re looking for tall, dark, and handsome (with a super cute nose), Tri Coastal is your boy.  Tri Coastal is a leap year baby, born on Feb 29 of 2012, so he also has a cool birthday to add to his awesomeness!  His trainer reports that he is just no longer competitive as a race horse, so they would like to move him on to his second career.  She reports he is retiring sound and clean legged, which is what we observed during his photo shoot-even with a missing shoe!  His groom stated that Tri Coastal is wonderful to work around and is very sweet.  He is reported to be good in turnout over the winter and is turned out in a herd.  His trainer reports that he is a good feeling horse when galloped in the mornings and doesn’t do anything naughty, but can get strong.  For this reason, she feels he is best suited for a rider with some experience, perhaps looking for an upper level prospect.  By Stephen Got Even out of a Grand Slam mare, Tri Coastal has a fabulous sport horse pedigree.  His breeding indicates he should be a great jumper with a wonderful temperament and personality.  He has no vices.  References will be required by trainer to ensure a safe and appropriate placement. PLEASE NOTE:  This trainer has multiple horses listed with us.  If you call to express interest, please make sure you have the horse’s name.  Please refrain from calling to ask about “the cute gelding” or “the bay horse”.    Having the name is respectful and makes it much easier to give you correct information.
