Everything about this horse impressed us — from his good looks and conformation to his pretty head, to his nice balanced toe pointing trot, to his friendly and chill personality.  He has won twice in 11 starts, but hasn’t been showing much lately, so it is time to let him find a new career.  We think he has outstanding potential for many new disciplines, from the show ring to the x-country course.  The assistant trainer says he is sound, and we observed clean legs. She says he is good to handle and work with, and that while he can get “happy” when he knows he is going to the track he never does anything wrong. He posed like a gentleman for his photos session, and jogged politely on a loose lead, showing very nice movement that caught the eye of a show hunter trainer who accompanied our volunteer. He is by Smart Bid, a son of Smart Strike, and his dam is by Royal Academy, who is a son of Nijinsky.  Young, good looking, sound, nice moving geldings are what everyone wants, and considering that he is the whole package, he is offered at a bargain price because the trainer wants a more successful racehorse to occupy his stall.
