This beautiful wise and kind horse is much loved by his owner/trainer, and she wants to find him the perfect forever home where he will be cherished and pampered as much as he has been with her. He is a gorgeous big boy, is sound, very quiet and mellow. Since being retired from racing last summer George has been hanging out at her farm, and she reports that he has been ridden there in a western saddle and on trail, and he has been a perfect gentleman. He is a very sociable horse who likes people, loves peppermints, is good in turn out with other horses, is good to handle and for the farrier. He is currently barefoot, and has good strong feet. He is a mild cribber. George is a great candidate for a “husband horse,” or your own trail and pleasure horse. But he is also certainly striking enough to take you to the show ring or dressage arena.
