We have been contacting with this guy’s owner/breeder who has elected to move him on from racing while he is 100% sound, sane and flashy! A homebred, he has been lovingly bought along through the years without a lot of hard training and has never trained or raced on medications, including Bute and Lasix. He was bred to be a turf horse and he certainly has the feet to match. He has done most of his racing on synthetic surfaces and doesn’t run well on the dirt track at Finger Lakes. With his stocky build, even a taller rider will look proportionate on him.

He also spends time on the farm when he’s not on the track to race and, during the winter months, has had some dressage training, so he comes with a foundation for all disciplines. He’s had a decent racing career with 38 lifetime starts, 4 wins, 3 seconds and 3 third place finishes. He is reported to be absolutely clean legged and we saw tight legs without blemishes and nice movement at the jog.

His trainer states that he is a joy to work with and has no vices. We really liked this sweet flashy guy and will hope to follow him in his new career.
