This homebred has been with his connections his entire life.   They couldn’t find enough good things to say about him and a good home is of utmost importance.  His trainer closely follows other horses he has sold and enjoys getting updates on their fabulous second careers.  Uncle Shleppy is lightly raced and has also enjoyed time at the farm just “being a horse”.  He is reported to be very quiet and easy going.  While we were photographing him and taking videos, there were horses running and playing on the walker close by and a cat continuously running between his legs and Uncle Shleppy stood perfectly still, just taking in the sights.  His exercise rider stated that he is fabulous to ride.  He goes in a D bit and has an excellent mouth.  Everyone loves to ride him.  Uncle Shleppy’s full brother is a successful children’s hunter in the NE…he even went to prom with his owner this year!  Uncle Shleppy seems to have the same great temperament and personality for a child or adult, but the build, athleticism, and soundness to be truly competitive in any sporting career.  His trainer reports he is a very easy keeper and turns out well.  No vices.
