Known in the barn as Raja, here is a sweet mare who busts the chestnut mare stereotype to smithereens! Raja is like family to her connections, being one of the last in a long line of “Ursula” horses that they have trained over the years. Raja is reported to be sound and without vices and was described as being kind and well mannered, so much that her trainer thinks she would be good with kids. Her handler said that Raja is intimidated by other horses when racing and takes herself out of the mix when she can. Even though she has been in the money in 10 of her 27 starts, her connections know her heart isn’t in the game and they would love for her to find someone who will help her find her niche.
