Western Posse, 2013 16.2h bay gelding

It is always a great endorsement for a horse when the exercise rider exclaims how great the horse is to ride.  As this very handsome young gelding was being led out for his photos, his regular exercise rider was standing nearby and said “You will love him!”  We asked if that meant he was nice to ride, and the response was a big smile and an enthusiastic “yes!”  Western Posse presents a rare opportunity to get a big, young, sound, clean legged, lightly raced gelding with a great sport horse pedigree for a very reasonable price.  After only five starts without a win, it is obvious to his trainer that Western Posse just isn’t racehorse material. But racing’s loss is your gain, and this horse has unlimited potential for any new discipline. He is very pretty, and has a great uphill build. He had raced two days before we saw him, and he showed good movement without any obvious after effects of his recent race.  He is by Posse, who is a grandson of Deputy Minister, out of a mare from Rahy and Roberto sire lines.  Western Posse’s dam is by a son of Gone West out of a Cox’s Ridge mare.  Super sport pedigree here!
