Williston Drive, 2011 15.3h bay filly: New Price!

This lovely girl is described as an absolute sweetheart, and she also has a big heart and great work ethic.  She has been a successful racehorse, with 4 wins, 5 seconds, and 3 thirds in her 15 starts.  She recently won three races in a row, which means she must now face tougher race conditions at a level where her trainer does not think she will be as competitive. So he wants to find her a new non-racing home while she is sound where she can excel.  The trainer vouches that Williston Drive is really quiet and trustworthy, never does a thing wrong, has no vices, is great to handle both on the track and in her stall, and is a great horse that some lucky person will adore.  Williston Drive recently moved to a farm very close to the Finger Lakes Race Track, and the groom at the farm also raved about how sweet and good to handle she is.  Her legs are clean, and even though the handler moved slowly for the jog video so the filly could not stride out, we saw tantalizing hints of lovely toe pointing movement.  We then watched the videos of her recent races, and indeed saw a flowing big smooth stride and great toe pointing reach to her trot.  We can see this sweetheart making a great children’s hunter.  But with her smaller build and soundness and heart and athleticism, we also think polo people should give her serious consideration.  Her pedigree is full of great jumping/sport bloodlines:  Lemon Drop Kid, Kingmambo, Fappiano, Danzig, Northern Dancer, Buckpasser, Cox’s Ridge, Key to the Mint.  And her fourth dam is the great producer Missy Baba, so she comes from one of the best female families in the American studbook.
