This little miss presents an interesting prospect: she was an absolute
sweetheart during her interview and has the cutest face and blaze, so
could very well be a young person’s mount. She has very nice movement
and could be a winner in the show ring. And, our investigation of her
pedigree proves that she could be an tempting broodmare prospect for
racing. She has many directions she could be pointed to and all would
be appropriate! One thing she isn’t is a racehorse!
As for her breeding, she is the Kentucky bred daughter of Zensational,
a young son of Unbridled’s Song, out of a Cozzene mare. She is a half
sister to a NY stakes winner and her dam comes from an outstanding
Juddmonte Farms female family. Her second dam is stakes placed and a
stakes producer. Her third dam was a multiple graded stakes winner,
including dam of Eltish. Her fourth dam produced multiple graded
stakes winner. Breeders will appreciate the blacktype in her pedigree.
She has a ding on her right hock from being kicked on the walking
machine but it has not caused any lameness. We were impressed with her
sweet demeanor and adorable face with such a kind eye. Indeed, her
handler told us that she is a playful girl and a doll to work with.
When asked for a jog, we saw lovely movement with nice suspension,
excellent tracking and nice push from behind. While on the smaller
side now, she is young enough to put some more height on, maybe this
winter while enjoying a break in your paddock.
